Semi-finals vs. Meola's Sunday, 11/27/2005

With the way Ray is holding that ball, he looks like a king about to make a sacrifice
Millbury's Ray Lebel catches an 11 yard TD.

Mario is holding that ball like he's carrying his books to class
P.A. announcer: "Monsoon QB Mario Borci gets to the outside for another Millbury Monsoon..."
Crowd (yelling): "FIRST DOWN!"

30 yards in penalties on the same series put the offense in a big hole late in the game. And Meola's claimed WE were getting all the calls
The Monsoon offense is knocking guys down and fighting hard to get out of their own red zone late in the game.

You don't win championships by taking plays off.
The Monsoon defenders are always running to pull a flag.  This is how PJ, Sully and others separate themselves as some of the best defenders at their positions in the league. They run after EVERY flag.

Ray had his man beat but just couldn't make what was a very tough play
Millbury receiver Ray Lebel dives for a pass in the end zone

The game was literally on ice and Wayne Cluett attempts a late field goal which figuratively would have put the game on ice for the Monsoon
1:20 to go in the game and we're attempting a field goal on 3rd down.  The refs were adamant it was 4th down.  They were wrong.  That's a MAJOR mistake to make that late in a game of this magnitude.  Yet Meola's thinks WE'RE getting all the calls.

The offensive line is muscling up against Meola's D-line
QB draw from the one yard line.

Mario was determined to lead the Monsoon to victory
Mario with lots of open field to run in

Our receivers give all they have when it's gametime
Ray Lebel gets his flag pulled but continues to run hard until the whistle blows
