Millbury Gets Funky

Funky Murphy's opened the game by driving down the field on Millbury and scoring on a Bill Orfilea 14 yard touchdown reception.  It was Orfilea's first of three on the day.  Millbury QB Josh Ducharme would run for Millbury's first score on their second series and then after a Funky's punt Ducharme drove the Monsoon down the field on their third series of the game and hit Ray Lebel for a 13 yard touchdown to go up by 7.  Funky's would tie the game just before halftime on a 27 yard Orfilea catch.  Millbury added two more scores to go up by 14.  The last one with 2:30 to go in the game.  It looked like that would be the game but Funky's had a few tricks still up their sleeves.  Orfilea ran out of the huddle towards the sidelines as if he was exiting the field but stopped prior to going out of bounds.  Millbury LB Jay Ayik alertly tried to call a timeout but it was not granted and Orfilea caught a pass with no defenders guarding him and scored a quick TD to keep the game alive.  Millbury ran the clock down to 30 seconds on their next possession and punted.  The game ended with a couple Funky Murphy last second throws that went incomplete.
